Whether it's originated from the stage of a stuffy venue, the drivers of my headphones, or the strings of my guitar, music has surrounded me since before I could speak. With parents who decided to spend years of their early adulthood following the Grateful Dead, I was brought into consciousness listening to smooth licks and grooving with those around me. Even my middle name is Jerome, an homage to the frontman of perhaps the greatest jam band of all time. In the years since those first interactions with live music, I haven't shaken that affection. I've been fortunate enough to attend over 350 shows and numerous festivals; exploring countless venues across the United States, Europe, and even China.

The social and cultural aspect of music has always fascinated me, and I'm steadily searching for the moment when a band is in complete control of the room and you know that you are witnessing raw talent and potential. My passion for music is certainly not relegated to clubs and concert halls. I spend a significant portion of my time listening to albums, old and new, and enjoy scouring the city for fresh artists breaking into the scene. Music was also the focus of my studies, investigating the complexities of the recording industry and the societal influence that popular music possesses, and that has followed me into my career. My guitars frequently find their way into my hands as well, perhaps to the dismay of my neighbors. I came to the realization that music is as much a part of me as anything else, and therefore needs to be the focus of my career. Music has never taken me astray, and I'm eager to see where it leads me in the coming years.
